During his career as a British Army Physiotherapist Officer, Andrew worked in many Primary and Secondary Care roles. Working as a Senior Physiotherapist in Complex Trauma at Headley Court, Andrew worked extensively with disabilities and neurological conditions.
Andrew has a keen interest in the application of Functional Electrical Stimulation and works with Europe’s leading FES technologies www.hasomed.de/en/products.html. Andrew is a Consultant Physiotherapist for Anatomical Concepts www.anatomicalconcepts.com with a particular interest in advanced Functional Electrical Stimulation www.fescycling.com.
Andrew has also worked as a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist with the World’s leading provider of Exo-Skeleton technology, training Physiotherapist’s and Exo-Skeleton users to the highest levels in this evolving field.
Andrew has always been a keen sportsman and has competed in many sports to good amateur levels but has specialised in endurance events particularly triathlon for over 20 years, although he now participates “just for fun”
Andrew is back in training for his next Ironman Triathlon and the Virgin London Marathon, raising funds for the Rooprai Spinal Trust www.rstrust.com and Spinal Research www.spinal-research.orgtwo charities close to his heart.
